Haus Am See - Göttingen

I visited this restaurant for dinner. the weather was not so nice to sit outside, but we had a nice table inside. the restaurant is very good in shot, but the half-open kitchen was a little loud. eating was very good. we had a gulash and the carving. both have tasted very well. the service was fast and very friendly. I would come back to try the other meal times.

We were the first time friends there. the place is just incredible. everything is chic and beautiful and the restaurant has a beautiful terrace with views of the lake. it is really relaxing and it is a joy to eat there. I chose the day dish, which consisted of grilled salmon and was very tasty. the only thing I really didn't like was when we wanted to order this dessert, we were told that the kitchen was already closed!? What's that if behavior? they should have told us. Hey, guys, the kitchen closes, if you want anything else, order it now. I mean, you bad... we went somewhere else to dessert! When I was there the second time, I still chose something with fish, it was good, but not like the salmon I have to say. again the kitchen closed and we were not informed. news to take: the kitchen closed very early, I think so about the 9:30 clock. or you eat for German time, or you better go there lunch.

As always a beautiful ambience. In addition, the service was incredibly friendly (despite the rather advanced evening). First, the friendly service tried to find out whether the pumpkin soup is pure vegetables or not (unfortunately not). After we had ordered, the delicious bread was served with butter, and I was asked if I could have some hummus and that was also brought along. The first (small mixed salad with balsamicodressing) main dish (herbal carrot balls) were incredibly delicious and super combined. My friend also reported a very delicious food (accessory: baked sheep cheese; Main food: sweet potatoes with roasted melon). In any case, this place is recommended. We go to every new card to eat there and look forward to the next card change.

Very pleasant atmosphere, for old and young, very tasty cakes, dinner is recommended only, staff very friendly, time and again, definitely worth a visit! I can only recommend!
