I recently visited this restaurant and noticed that on TripAdvisor it incorrectly says that the restaurant is closed. While they do have adjusted opening hours due to Covid-19, they are definitely open for business. Yesterday, I enjoyed a delicious lunch of meat and potatoes with water and coffee for only 115 SEK. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, but for larger groups, I recommend sitting inside. The service staff is attentive and very helpful, and the restrooms are clean and well-maintained.
The wait to order was a bit long, but the Local Swedish Style food was worth it. Both the main course and starter had a unique and special touch that made them delicious and stand out.
I had higher expectations for a restaurant like Stefan Karlsson's, but regardless of the name behind it, this establishment fell far short of the standard I was hoping for. The food was subpar, with a nearly raw burger that had to be sent back and a slow service that left us waiting for our meals. The staff was not unfriendly, but they seemed disinterested and slow in their service. It took too long for them to bring us napkins and they never checked on us to see if we needed anything. Our empty glasses were left neglected and the bill was brought without asking if we wanted anything else. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience and would not return or recommend this restaurant to others.
Today's lunch was disappointing. The new cook only gave us 4 measly pieces of meat in the Burgundy meal. One star.
