Aroma - Gloucester

Aroma is my favourite restaurant in Gloucester City and, while its restaurant may not have the space nor the table layout to enable elegant dining, it is comfortable and the service is excellent. The food is freshly prepared and very tasty and, although the prices have risen inevitably over the past 3 years, is still great value.

Looked for Indian restaurant that opened at lunchtime to take my elderly mother. Found this restaurant in the pedestrian zone by Gloucester docks . Booked it on line through open table , which worked well and we got confirmation email. This was followed up by reminder texts the day previous and on the day which was reassuring. On arrival we found a well presented restaurant, bright , clean and well decorated. We were met at the door by Jay who offered us a choice of two tables served us drinks and looked after the table very well. Food was tasty and delivered as ordered. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and mum enjoyed it also which was the reason for our visit. Definitely worth a visit if in Gloucester and only a short walk from the quays shopping area.

Good and quick service, food of good standard quality

Great food, excellent service, reasonable prices. Eaten here several times, and will again next time in Gloucester.
