Lone Gull Coffee House - Gloucester

Awesome coffee! Came here both days of our weekend visit to Gloucester it was so good. Service was very friendly and made us feel like regulars. The seating area is closed due to covid, but there is a marvelous collection of potted plants displayed on the tables that were fun to look at. Highly recommend the Cuban Latte (if you want a sweet treat) and their branded baseball cap as a souvenir!

The coffee blend here is exceptionally tasty, featuring delightful nutty and chocolate notes. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the recent rise in costs. The staff is very kind and friendly, and the interior is both cozy and clean.

Lone Gull is a delightful coffee shop located on the North Shore! My wife and I were looking for a cozy spot to enjoy coffee and pastries, and this place ticked all the boxes. We ordered a medium coffee, a medium vanilla latte, and a sugar cookie with white chocolate chips. Everything was delicious, and the vanilla latte was just sweet enough with the perfect amount of syrup. The cookie was large and freshly made, making for a wonderful treat. The staff were friendly, and the ambiance was inviting and comfortable. It seemed like many customers were regulars, as there were lively conversations among a few patrons. Plus, the prices were very reasonable—our total came to under $9, which is quite a bargain compared to similar orders at coffee shops in Boston, where the cost would typically be around $15. Overall, it’s a lovely place, and we’ll definitely be back!

Gloucester is one of those place where the people make you feel your family. The Lone Gull is no exception. It's the perfect size, not big, not to small. very comfortable seating. Clean well lit. The food is great, I mostly have had the pastries and they were fresh, right out of the oven fresh. I love coffee so.... an important factor in determining if I'll come back is the quality of you basic coffee. It was Excellent! My Barista was warm, friendly, and veryknowledgeable. I try to stop by whenever I'm in Gloucester.

It's a charming little coffee shop with excellent products. However, the Pandora radio was a bit too loud and featured some irritating and loud commercials. I ended up having to wear closed-back headphones to make it more bearable.
