The chocolate and blackcurrant brownie was fantastic. The coffee and service were excellent.

I had a wonderful experience at this lovely cafe in Paradise. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and I particularly loved their delicious coffee and carrot cake.

What a cute little cafe! Located close to the river and park with gorgeous outdoor seating. The sheepskins on the seats made it very cosy. The girl serving was very sweet and patient as she was the only person working and it got quite busy when we arrived. Great outlook and view.

I loved the service, I was very well attended even with basic English, the owner was super kind and friendly, our cappuccinos were delicious and lunch so very appetizing

The Trading Post was one of my favourite dining experiences in New Zealand. It is in a picture perfect location near Lake Wakatipu and the Humboldt Mountains. Once you step inside, you'll feel immediately welcomed with the cosy decor and the welcoming hospitality of the stuff. We tried their oat biscuit, banana bread and the carrot cake, however my favourites were the latter two as they were both lightly sweetened with warming spices. Best of all they had such a soft and melt in your mouth texture! The coffee was also a delight and some of the strongest we had on our trip. If we ever come back to the area we will definitely return here.
