Very misery. after years of eating in lims his time to admit that it is simply not the same. adult visited on a Friday night and it was not busy. the number is not busy on Friday! ok his anzac day weeks may be the people away. Although the name of the restaurant suggests otherwise, the food that was served was not at all authentic or pleasant. The portion sizes were tiny compared to their prices, and the quality of the food was unacceptable. For example, their spicy chicken sauce was just barbeque sauce. We have tried honey chicken in many different places, and we can safely say this is easily one of the worst. However on the upside, their location is quite convenient, and their decoration and environment may be pleasing to some. Got takeaway from Lims a few weeks ago while visiting a friend in Somerton Park. We ordered five dishes and all were average. Even a simple dish like salt and pepper squid was done poorly. Won't be returning.

This Restaurant is living on it's old good name,tasteless and overpriced.My big gripe is we are not given an itemised docket,had tallied it up and what Phillip charged was more,tip keep a pocket calculator,might look tight,but it's better than paying through the nose for rubbish Apr, Lauren. Slow service,very expensive in comparison to the serves,frozen spring rolls,mushy dim sims,barely warm salty beef with frozen vegetables barely cooked,drinks outrageous price.Very popular with older people who do not have experience of real Asian cuisine.Watered down wine and soft drink.Give it a miss.

Today lims, a weekday I was not expected to be crowded. we were visited in a reasonable time and the staff was very good and attentive. the eating itself was average we ordered a chicken brewed pork sweet and acidic combo, which was much too sweet and if not wrong, then also food coloring. the fried rice was ok, but the insect was good. the portions are average, two average eaters can share a rice and gravure.
