Eat and drink came in within 10 minutes and literally picked on the table. food not up to the previous standard. Nobody came and asked if we wanted more drinks or water. our dirty plates were left until we were ready to go. place was not busy, less than a quarter full, but the personal decided to stand around and chat instead to do their job.
We went with the family, 4 adults, 1 child. the service was appalling. we booked before and when we arrived, were not welcomed. we had to ask from the bar to find out where to sit, she went to a table. We sat and waited 10 minutes before we had to call someone to take over our order, then again on our food order, our drinks had not arrived yet. we just ordered softdrinks! eating came out at all different times when one of the main things came out, the rest of the family was almost finished. the food was totally hit and measured. 2 suppen were ok, laksa and tom yum, the padthai was very basic and blande. vietnamese suppe was bark, noodles and bean sprouts. I added a sweet and got cauliflower carrot. that costs extra. sauces were extra. if they wanted to take something home, they pay extra for the container. there was an additional price for everything. the prices were certainly high enough to cover all extras! if it was a small street café in the back of a suburb and cost half the price, I would not be surprised. but for the price we paid and the fact that they were certainly not busy. very disappointing. we will never go back
Unbelievably disappointed if I are added over $3 dollar for garnel to an intake and get them a
This chinese/vietnamese restaurant is on Glenelg's popular Jetty Road. We shared crispy pork and a prawn fried rice. Both were very tasty. I only wish I could make fried rice at home like this. it is also a very popular takeaway place with a steady...stream of courier pick ups while we were there.
