We came to try out this place with some workmates. I'm not sure what I was expecting since I had never eaten Peruvian food before, but I was completely blown away by my experience. We had the Alitas De Pollo which meant we sat back and ate the 6 dishes provided to us. Every dish felt like it belonged in a fine dining restaurant. You could tell that each dish had been made with love and that the chefs cared about the food they were making. There was not a lot of meat in the dishes we had, but even if you're a huge meat eater, don't let that put you off, it was still all fabulous. Even though it was tapas, I left the night feeling full and satisfied. Highly recommended.
The atmosphere and ambiance of this restaurant is what makes it. We were seated in front of the fire and close to the bar making it perfect for date night. I love the assortment of food they have to offer and that their menu is seasonal. Never having tried Peruvian food before, this place was such a hit. And the staff their are so attentive and lovely. We had the 6 course banquet which was more then enough food for our hungry little bellies. Very interesting and unique flavours too. Really tasty. Would try making our own meal selections next time but this little find is definitely worth passing through.
Went to this restaurant for the first time to Celebrate a birthday. We were greeted by Will. Had the choice of tables and sat near the front window. Wine and a Spanish beer Was ordered the wine being a local from the hills area. We decided on the banquet. It was 6 courses that included sweets first course Was a fish dish it was a Tasmanian fish called lingfish and it was served with a sweet corn tomato and onion salad. Second course was a house made Ravioli with a King prawn in the centre. This was wonderful. It would make a very good main course in the winter. The staff assured me that they will be putting it on the menu in the winter. Third course were beef skewers with chap potatoes, sweet corn and a wonderful creamy sauce. Fourth course existed of a quinoa salad. Very nice. The fifth course consisted of lamb cutlets with roasted capsicum croquettes with a smoky chilli sauce. Sweets consisted of mixed berries with a form of ice cream. The dishes were mainly a tapas serve, but we had trouble eating it all. Our bellies were full and content. The staff were very friendly. This place is a secret made to visit. Thoroughly recommend it.
