Coast - Glenelg (SA)

After reading reviews and considering the restaurant's marketing, I booked a table for a birthday dinner. However, the food was mainly deep fried and overcooked, which was disappointing. While the service was good and the atmosphere was more suited for lunch than dinner, overall it was a letdown considering the amount of money spent.

We waited 40 minutes for our drinks, and even longer to eat. There were about 4 tables nearby that arrived after us, and we noticed people getting up to get drinks from the bar because they had been waiting for a while. The waitress mentioned they were short-staffed, but it didn't seem overly busy (only about 5 tables occupied).

After reading reviews and seeing the restaurant's marketing, I decided to try it out. If you enjoy deep-fried or cooked meals, this is the perfect place for you. Unfortunately, my birthday dinner experience was quite disappointing. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was suitable for both lunch and dinner. Overall, I was disappointed with my visit.
