I accepted that, albeit reluctantly. On the second day, I placed my order three hours in advance and specified my alternative bread option in the comments to avoid the previous day's issue. When I arrived ten minutes after the order was supposed to be ready, the employee informed me that he hadn’t even begun working on the pre-orders. To say I was furious would be an understatement. Thank you, Subway on Glendale, for your subpar food and terrible customer service!
The meatballs were old, the bread was stale, and the tea bags seemed to be weeks old. The desserts were also a week past their freshness. To make matters worse, the owner was constantly staring at his phone, watching his deliveries come in, and then repeatedly calling the employee over after each customer. It was quite frustrating.
I have a few coupons in the post and since I wasn't in subway was in years decided to try this place for the first time. I was the only one in the load and now I know why. I ordered two foot lengths. the brot was hard and could not be made on the same day. there was not too much of a selection of sweets to choose, not of what I remembered. I chose what I wanted, the lady wasn't too generous with them, quite economical. if all subway locations are like this, I see why they have lost their popularity. I remember years ago long lines and good eating. I'm not back.
Lord Where do we start?1. Ordered a sub on the app using a rewards deal i had earned then immediately walked in so i can customize my sub since the app is very slow when trying to customize a sub2. I informed the young lady the online order just printed was mine and would like it made a certain way.3. She raised her voice and said the ingredients were already on the paper and she will make it the way it states.4. I informed her it would be the same as if i were to walk in and order the normal way the only difference was that the sub was already paid for5. She proceeded to make the sub the way she wanted and sloppily tossed the ingredients on the sandwich with her bare hands and no gloves. I told her to forget it and I would like a refund.6. Employee began screaming and crying she didt need my harassment for the reason being she had been overworked the and hadn 't had a day off in 2 weeks.7. Told her sorry but I just wanted a refund for the sandwich she was refusing to make.8. She screamed NO REFUND! and proceeded to to call the police to escort me out 9. Police informed her because i had already paid for the item and i posed no threat that it was a civil matter10. Employee finally refunded my and screamed for me to get out of her store.Update: The franchise owner Heidi Wong messaged me and stated her employee was liar for stating she had no days off and she was an outstanding employee, while other reviews here clearly indicate there is a problem with the woman owner and her abuse of employees and customers. Happy to say her franchise will be soon be revoked because what goes around , comes around...
If there were an option for zero stars, I would definitely choose it. The service was terrible. This location really needs to improve their staff training in customer service. I visited today to ask if they had broccoli soup, and the male employee completely ignored me. He walked away, then came back to inform me that they didn't have it. Honestly, the staff seems inexperienced. I will never return to this place again.
