The dishes we ordered were great. Service was very attentive and care, although a bottle of sparkling water we ordered was kind of flat and we were surprised that they did not offer a replacement bottle or compromise. (I guess that certain brand of foam water must be less carbonized than the brand we were using. For Desserts we went to the glass showers on the bakery side of the restaurant and chose what we want, and they brought them to our table. We visited the Wed Night and quite the only customers inside that tells you this is a hidden gem in Glendale. I'd rather come here than overpriced restaurants in Americana, because the parking lot is less crowded here alone. The terrace seating looked good when it was warmer night (there were heating, but smokers were sitting there while we visited. Parking is available on both sides of the restaurant for about $1/hour.
I recently dined at this restaurant and tried the fettuccine alfredo. Wow! This dish is truly one for the history books. The sauce was unlike any other I have ever tasted, ranking it in my top 3 pasta dishes of all time. The portion size was generous, leaving everyone with leftovers except for me as I was too full to resist. For an appetizer, I ordered the calamari and shrimp which had a great texture and delicious sauce. I also tried crème brûlée and tiramisu for the first time, with the tiramisu having a unique layer on top that added a fun element to eating it. The outdoor seating was equipped with heaters, making it a pleasant experience for those who get cold easily. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit, making for a great dining experience. Overall, this location is fantastic with welcoming staff and a great atmosphere. Note that parking is not free but definitely worth it.
I arrived for lunch at noon and was disappointed to find that my favorite appetizer, calamari, was not available. However, 20 minutes later, two women sat down behind me and ordered calamari, which was served to them within 10 minutes. I couldn't help but wonder why the dish was available for them but not for me.
I have driven past Plate Petal many times and always admired the beautiful flower walls on their outdoor dining patio. Finally, I had the chance to have lunch there and it exceeded my expectations. The seafood salad I ordered was incredibly fresh and delicious. The decor, atmosphere, and staff were all fantastic. I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes from the menu. Also, be sure to park in the parking lot next to the restaurant instead of on the street.
