The Las Vegas roll was lacking in taste, possibly because the cream cheese seemed to have been left out for too long before frying. The Miso soup, while tasty, had a slightly thick consistency which made me think the tofu had been left in the pot all day. On the other hand, the Teriyaki chicken plate was satisfyingly portioned and packed with flavor. I would certainly return to try other dishes on the menu, but I'll steer clear of the Vegas roll and soup next time.
I have visited this restaurant several times now, and each visit has been disappointing. I'm not sure why so many people claim it's the best sushi. The prices are too high, the taste is subpar, and the oil used in the deep-fried rolls tasted old. I have given them multiple chances, but I have to admit that I can't do it anymore. Even the sushi kiosks at the grocery store taste better than this place.
The sushi and flavored sake at this restaurant are truly incredible!
This is a cozy Asian restaurant that offers simple, yet flavorful dishes. The Las Vegas roll didn't taste all that good (I think they left the cream cheese out too long before deep frying it), and their Miso soup tasted great, but the consistency was like they left the tofu in the pot all day. The Teriyaki chicken plate was very nicely portioned, and very flavorful. I'd definitely go back and try other dishes, but will avoid the Vegas roll and soup.
YUMMY!!! Sorry I waited so long to try them, we'll be regular customers now! Flavors of the soups unbelievable! Orange chic, jalapeños chic and cashew chic were outstanding!!! Can't wait to try more!
