Genghis Grill - Glendale

This was our first visit to a Genghis Grill in Phoenix, but we have been to GG in other states many times before. We absolutely love the experience, as it offers unmatched customization options. The bowls always turn out delicious, no matter what combination of meat, vegetables, spices, and sauces you choose. They have implemented Covid precautions, providing gloves for handling utensils and having kitchen staff hand you your bowl to fill. Once you're finished assembling your meal, your server will bring it to your table. The food is so good that you will not regret dining here. Additionally, the chocolate brownie dessert is a must-have - it was absolutely delicious!

The food at this restaurant is what you make of it. There are plenty of protein, veggie, and sauce options to choose from, and if you're not confident in your cooking abilities, you can opt for a signature dish instead. You set up the dish yourself and leave it to the cooks to fry it up. There is a bit of a learning curve on the first visit, but the variety of options made me look forward to my next visit and trying out different combinations. I will definitely be dining here again.

The customer service was friendly and the menu offered a variety of food options, including the option to build your own food bowl. I highly recommend trying the build-your-own bowl, as it is definitely worth it. You can choose from three bowl sizes, and I chose the regular size. After selecting your ingredients with the waiter, you are given a slip to fill your bowl with as much fresh food as you can fit without letting it fall out. Then, you can choose from a variety of sauces and have your food cooked. The taste was amazing and left me feeling very full. I also enjoyed a Blue Dragon drink, which was delicious. Overall, I had a great time and highly recommend this place. After your meal, you may want to consider exploring the Tres Rios Wetlands, which was named one of the top 100 things to do in Arizona.

This place rocks! Get the build yourself the make your own bowl. Full that thing up with meat and veggies to the point of almost overfilling. Great drinks also!
