Hammond's B-b-q - Glen Rose

The best darn BBQ I've ever put in my mouth! I'm a rib freak and very picky. I found my favorite place to eat ribs now! The potato salad was also great!

For years, I wouldn't eat BBQ in a restaurant other than my mother's smokehouse in San Angelo. I was never a big fan anyway and got her 2 or 3 times a year was always a lot. After 31 years, she sold it and retired. We visited a relative Saturday in Glen Rose and decided by all cars Hammonds must be the place to eat! We ordered chopped beef sandwiches and they were delicious, I can't say they were better than my mom, but with them up! We shared a bowl of pinto beans, also very good. We will definitely be back as we live in Burleson because it's not that far. Thanks for the great service and food!

We met our grandchild at Hammond's birthday for the second time in a row. I had my favorite food in the world, that's pork ribs. As usual, not to satisfy this place! Best ribs everywhere and at a great price! My wife had the windshield and my grandson had three chopped grill sandwiches! I can't expect to go back!

Great food and great service!! These people worked with the PTO of the Granbury Middle School and gave us incredible service. Some of our teachers commented that it was the best lunch they ever had!! I recommend Hammonds!

AJ's Special is a big bowl of pinto beans with a full serving of chopped brisket on top. I have never found this anywhere else, and I have never found anything better.
