Glen Ferris Inn

I recently dined at this restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable and the location was perfect. I highly recommend this place!

My partner and I had fond memories of a previous visit to this restaurant and decided to return. Unfortunately, the room looked the same after 20 years, only with a new bed. The view of the river and waterfalls remained stunning, but the inn had been recently sold to new owners and was in a state of disrepair. There were warning notes not to go on the balcony due to danger, and the window overlooking the river near our table in the restaurant was covered with thousands of dead bugs. Weeds, peeling paint, and a smell of gas in the entryway added to the unsettling atmosphere. Room: 3, Service: 2, Location: 4.

I love the view from the dining room and the food was excellent. The rooms, service, and location all receive top ratings of 5.

Our stay was just what I expected. Beautiful views from our room and the restaurant. I love the river at this location. We use to come here occasionally when dating nearly 40 years ago to eat. We only ate at the restaurant. The service was not good. We ordered chefs salads and had to request the ham and eggs after they were delivered to our table. We received five small pieces of ham and about a third of a hard-boiled egg. The kitchen staff needs to be more attentive to what is supposed to go in the preparation.
