We heard Melbourne knows how to make a great cup of coffee. This shop was the first place we tried after first arriving in the city. Perfect cappuccino with lots of creamy milk foam and not too bitter on the coffee end. Also had a pesto egg scramble on a thick slice of multigrain toast. Very generous portion. You can tell they attend to the healthy quality of all of their ingredients. We returned each day of our three days in Melbourne for our coffee and quick healthy sandwich.

Just a short walk from the hospital, the Windsor Deli is in an old corner store at apparently was once a delicatessen. Don't be deceived by the name, it's now a cafe that serves excellent breakfast and lunch and seems to specialise in cookies. The staff seem to genuinely enjoy serving you which makes for a delightful atmosphere.

Windsor Deli is my local coffee shop and has a delicious array of freshly baked goods, breakfasts and lunches, and even vegan cupcakes. A stone's throw from bustling Chapel St this suburban coffee shop makes - in my opinion - Melbourne's best coffee. Friendly staff with superb barista skills will make you a brew that will have you coming back for more. Classic eggs bennie or Jerk chicken sandwiches are perfect for brunch. Pet friendly outdoor seating available as well. Worth a visit!!

Great to pop out from The Avenue Hospital for some great atmosphere & food. Healthy & tasty! Quaint & quiet corner. Good coffee! Great service.
