The Salt Grill - Glen Cove

On Tuesday evening, we dined from the three-course prix fixe menu for $39. There were four of us, and we each ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees, all of which were delicious. The pao de queijo cheese balls were exceptional, especially with their dipping sauce, and the tahini salad was a standout dish. We shared the truffle spaghetti, chicken breast, salmon, and steak, all of which were wonderfully prepared. For dessert, the cheesecake was the perfect finale to our meal. The bar service was excellent as well; the martinis and wines in the glass were very enjoyable.

The cocktails were truly unique and delicious, particularly their version of the espresso martini! The food was great as well—huge steak and incredibly smooth mashed potatoes—but it did feel a bit pricey given that the atmosphere wasn't really oriented towards a special occasion. That being said, the decor was sleek and the service was outstanding.

I had a delicious meal accompanied by attentive and knowledgeable servers.

The service was terrible, the waiter had no notice. the half of the menu items they were out of. high prices bad service and so on
