Hellas - Glen Burnie

My mom, former neighbor, and I, like to come here for lunch from time to time. The pickle chips appetizer is our favorite, but it hasn't been offered for quite some time. The mozzarella sticks are great as well. I'm not a fan of red sauce but their dipping marinara is delicious. I've tried a variety of their daily soups: cream of crab, loaded baked potato, chicken noodle, and navy bean and ham. All were piping hot and tasty. We usually stick to sandwiches for lunch, but do branch out to other items occasionally. The Rueben sandwich and the turkey club is my favorite. My mom and neighbor loves the steak and cheese subs and the steak house sliders. They have the best fries! We usually have Nikole or Rebecca as our server. Both are fantastic and always remember us when we come in. We enjoy their daily specials menu. Their menu has a wide variety of food, so there's really something for everyone.

Update : I recently visited this restaurant and our server, Melissa was great. Served my godfather and I with a smile, and great service. Crab cakes, finger licking. Wings, decent. I tried the siracha wings (mm, maybe a 3.5/5 stars) and my godfather had the old bay (4 stars). Even the french fries were good heated up the next day! This was my second time being at Hellas, and I would not mind making it a third. If there is a game night or something sports related being televised, this would be a nice restaurant to go to for attendance.

Hellas has been a family favorite for years. Our party of seven was seated promptly. We had (extremely large) Chesapeake oysters, crab cake platters (each one the size of a softball and delicious), Greek and Cesar Salads, stuffed (huge) oysters, French Onion and Cream of Crab soups, a huge plate of calamari, huge stuffed Lobster and a burger. Everything was excellent. Service was prompt, polite and correct. The ambiance of the place is laid back and comfortable. The whole family had a great time. Wish we would have saved room for desert.

This place is DELICIOUS! The crab dip with the fried pita bread the chicken souvlaki pita the fries are to die for and the waitress was outstanding. We came in with a huge crowd and everyone was happy
