The drinks were a highlight, featuring some unique cocktails and crushes that we enjoyed. Most of the food we tried was satisfactory, although the pizza was disappointing. The fish tacos and fried calamari were tasty, and surprisingly, the sushi burrito turned out to be a favorite. The crab cream was decent, and for vegetarians, there are options like the spicy avocado roll and the green Philly roll. I appreciated that they allow you to substitute soy paper for seaweed at no extra charge, which is a nice touch. The Bavarian braided pretzel was quite enjoyable, soft and chewy in the middle, complemented perfectly by the delicious beer cheese. However, the rockfish bites fell short; the fish was too thin and overwhelmed by the breading. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but I would still recommend it for the ambiance and some standout dishes.
We had a wonderful afternoon on the deck. The food was delightful, and the service was outstanding. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
The drink selection was nothing to write home about, although the seasonal cedar was quite nice. We ordered sushi, and while the surf and lawn roll was decent, I wouldn't recommend this place for sushi overall. The crabby dead were tasty, and the crab cake egg rolls were huge! They were loaded with cream cheese, so I'd probably stick with something else next time. A friend who ordered the burger mentioned it was just average. Overall, this place is alright.
The first time here for lunch and it was nice. The food was good. We got the crab pull. Was good, just needed a little more crabs, but taste was good, and it was creamy, not fishy. I ordered the shrimp salad. Again the taste was good, not excessive in Mayo, but the shrimps were little. Would be perfect if it only changed to larger shrimps, but still was very tasty. The sweet potato fries Coleslaw were delicious! My son ordered the Baltimore Wrap he and my mother really liked. My mother ordered 2 oranges and they really enjoyed them, and I ordered a blue Hawaiian. It was good, but didn't see the picture on her menu. Only real complaint is their website and Facebook page both say Happy Hour is from 12-6, but when we arrived, the waitress said it was changed to 2:00 so that they should really update their social media. Also, some music would suggest there were some people inside, but was somehow calm, definitely need some music playing overhead. We played a song on the jukebox on the wall, but it was so low, we could hardly hear it. Overall, very nice atmosphere, right on the water, nice staff and food and drinks were all delicious. We will return when the weather cools and next time sit on the deck.
We wanted to go to a water side restaurant and took our chances here with reviews at 4.2. Service was slower than normal and appetizer was ready about 3 minutes after ordering. Pretzel tasted very heavy on old cooking oil, crab dip was almost all mayo/cream cheese and pizza had a weird taste to sauce. Cole slaw was pretty good and chicken Chesapeake was too heavy with the cream cheese crab dip with no crab flavor. $68 for three meals plus appetizer. Nice environment near the water and it offers a dock bar experience. Overall, can not recommend and will not return.
