Was a Valentines Day Menu and it was a great one at that .was an afternoon session and hit the spot with time to party on after !!! ..
I went here with family last night. I did notice a slight stale smell in this restaurant. The restaurant was half empty and we were sat in a squishy area, it was really awkward to get in and out of our seats especially with the other diners so close to us. They never offered us a table in where we had space so I assumed those tables were booked but they were never occupied. We went to order drinks but the waitress said there was a function the night before and most of the beers have been consumed, I don't know why they couldn't go to the shops and buy some for tonight to get them through before their next order comes here. We order a main size of scallops to share as an entree. The scallops were cooked well and tasted yummy, the purée was delicious as well. I wasn't very hungry after already eating heaps of food today. I ordered the barramundi instead of the ribs haha. The barramundi was cooked nicely with crispy skin. The squid ink pasts it came with was delicious but it was slightly over cooked. My sister, nephew and his partner ordered the beef rib which was flavoursome and tender. My sister's partner was very interested in trying the wagyu steak, he was very disappointed because it was tough, the sauce was nice apparently. We ordered truffle oil mash and broccoli as sides. The mash was nice but I couldn't taste the truffle. The broccolini was really nicely cooked and tasted delicious. While this restaurant looked nice and most of the food was good there were a few small things that made the night less enjoyable. The waitress was nice enough.
