Having called in here for a hit drink before after one of the wonderful afternoon concerts in the church. Staying across the road at the Premier Inn, decided much better value and would rather the money went to a local cafe. Just had a bacon n egg roll first day, but full breakfast on the second £5.95 great value. Staff really friendly and polite, the cafe obviously a hub for everyone using the church facilities, when I stay at the Charing Cross Premier inn again in January will definitely be having breakfast, good range of homecooked meals on offer in the afternoon too
Having coeliac disease makes eating anywhere a massive issue so I was so pleased to see this amazing list of gf items available in oasis cafe just a 15 minute walk from where I was. When I arrived I asked to order a gluten free meal and was surprised as the response I got from the unwelcoming staff member was, naw you need to pre order. So this cafe does not have a large selection of gluten free baking or pasta or anything it says, not one thing. Why advertise it it's a cafe who is going to pre order? I advise you write this on the app as your making it out as if your cafe should even be on the gluten free map. Also had to spend £5 minimum to use card so couldn't get a cup of tea for lunch as couldn't eat anything yawn.
This acomfortable modern style café.The food is of a good standard with goodchoices at reasonable prices. The staff are helpful.
This is where I always go for lunch when in town shopping ,all home made foods and great prices ,nice n clean and bright, staff are lovely and chatty,if busy, may take a wee while getting served ,but remb it's nonprofit n a part of church. Highly Reccommended
