Many McDonald's locations prioritize drive-thru and takeout orders over delivery orders, causing delays. During a recent visit, I had to wait 1.5 hours for my order while observing slow-moving staff and multiple drivers waiting for their orders. This situation is inconvenient for drivers who are not compensated for their time waiting. Some McDonald's locations, such as Springburn and Crow Road branches, are efficient in delivering orders on time. However, other branches in Glasgow need to address this issue to prevent drivers from avoiding McDonald's delivery orders due to long wait times.
Health and Safety gone mad! Common sense completely out of the window. Tried to order food. In large vehicle and couldn’t get under the barrier. Manager wouldn’t accept a walk up order at drive thru window. Couldn’t down load app. Walked back and forwards 4 times through drive thru trying to resolve issue. Friendly helpful staff but half baked manager with no interest in helping customers.
I would advise everyone to avoid using the car park at this establishment. A friend and I recently visited in two cars to comply with Covid guidelines. After queuing to enter and then queuing again to order breakfast at the terminals, we spent over an hour there providing our details for Covid tracing. Despite being told by staff that we had 2 hours of parking, we have both received £100 parking tickets from the car park owners. The parking time limit has been reduced to 1 hour, which is not enough time to avoid receiving a fine, especially with the long queues and waiting for a table. It would be more cost-effective to go to the best restaurant in Glasgow for lunch instead.
I had a fantastic day at the zoo today. I enjoyed looking at the meerkats and flamingos, though they were not as pink as I expected. The koalas were amazing, despite the long wait. The steep hill at the zoo was a challenge, but I made it to the top like a champ. I also loved seeing the penguins. Although I may have jokingly tried to take one home with me. The panda viewing at the end of the day was disrupted by a long queue of English tourists, but overall, it was a great experience. The maps provided were small, so it was hard to gauge the size of the zoo. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes for the visit, as I ended up with joint pain after walking around. Despite the pain, I had a wonderful time and would definitely consider returning in the future with better shoes.
The image below should tell you everything about this place, pretty sure they got angry at the fish and sprayed its blood on my burger.
