King's Lodge Chinese Buffet

Currently in this dump just now. Took my son as he says he loves it. Food is ridiculous. Hardly anything there and the taste is awful. I had one chicken ball and one rib and said to the lady. She was so rude and charged me full price. I find that to be terrible customer service. Some of the staff don't speak English so you're very limited as to who can help you. This place is ridiculously overpriced. Good quality is poor. Atmosphere is sh1t and the staff don't give a flying f about you. I'm so angry that I walked into his dump. 20 pound wasted. Never again Make sure you avoid it. Plenty better places in town. That is the cake my son got and refused to eat it as it tastes ig cardboard

It was ok, but the pork dishes were very rich, and sweet , the only thing that was decent was the chicken satay, properly won’t comeback, because the were to many people standing trying to get their food and being rude

This used to be a favourite of mine and as I hadn't been in years I thought it would be nice to pop in for dinner. The price is still good and the food is still nice. I was however disappointed to see the staff empty the contents of the new trays of food onto the old trays. It put me off eating any more once I saw that as you then never know how long the food at the bottom has been there. The staff were pleasant enough and there was a variety of food but the drink choices were lacking. To be honest it is just your standard buffet.

Been a couple of times to grab a takeaway box for £4.50 during my work and never had any issues. Customer service is a hit and a miss but don’t go for that. Decent selection of buffet-style food which is what you’d expect from a buffet: nothing spectacular but will fill a hole

I’ve given 4/5 for the food only. Good selection and tasty. Price is reasonable at £7.95 per hungry human. Probably the worst service however. Staff looked like they had just returned from a funeral. No niceties. Not even a hello or hi. I was keeping an eye out for cries for help from the staff, a “help me” in the noodles or a “save me” in the chicken balls. I actually thought it was kind of funny though. I’d go back but only for the food/price. I would not recommend.
