Assam's - Glasgow City

Very disappointing. we went to assams glasgow this afternoon. I have to say it was the worst curry we had in glassgow service, was slow chicken pakora had not much huh in it and saw newly heated chilli chicken main burned and dry, but was still served. After we had complained and told the chief that he only started at 18 o'clock, we got another dish that was not burned, but was the worst curry we had and tasted like the armi sauce. after the explanation of the waiter he was apologetic, but no remedy offered. will never go there again

Totally dissapointment. awful service, terrible bland, luke warm food, just a total disappointment! even softdrinks were bad! can not think of a positive, oh wait yes I couldn't make to eat! tasting was bad enough! some things like the curry sauce I didn't even taste because it wasn't at a proper temperature! after waiting 2 hours 45 min for it warns too much to ask it warm! hard pieces in rice, burned meat, hard nanbrot! could go on, but they think that they get the point when visited warns even buffet time, so say it was not viable, we ordered fresh from a menu! fresh did!

I would come to eat, but I'm here 40 minutes and the starter is still coming. very poor service for such an expensive restaurant.

Confused and angry. everyone seems to say that eating here is great. but then I wouldn't know because, when my friend and I showed up for our jubilee dinner this evening, the place was closed at 8 o'clock, obviously a kind of renovation went through. if we had been up without booking, we would put it down, but we had called this afternoon and booked a table! how hard can it be, oh to say how we renovate 'I really mean! the worst part was that we had already paid for the meal as a deal through social life and they knew that this was not an excuse for not telling us. even if my friend called to say that we stand outside (in the blowing rain they...more

Buffet. Ozzi has returned and the buffet is back to being first class again 04 Jan, 2011 Assams Buffet lunch. While still a great restaurant, the buffet is not as good as it used to be. If you dont arrive early the buffet dishes tend to run out and are not replaced. Hopefully this will be noted and things put right as its still great value!
