The Curlers Rest - Glasgow

I had lunch yesterday and it was good restaurant. Really fast delivery, with a special menu price (8£ main dish + drink) I ate the beef burger with fries

Curler's always gives me a fuzzy nostalgic feeling, all those many years ago it was my "other" student union, and it was never as good then as it is now.

It pains me to mark down somewhere that I've previously enjoyed, but that's what's happening now.

We enjoyed delicious, straightforward dishes paired with a glass or two of quality red wine, making for a wonderful, leisurely meal in a cozy atmosphere.

Popped in by chance when it started pouring rain outside on a Wednesday evening.So glad we did. Lovely laid back atmosphere, friendly staff, comfortable seating. We weren’t eating this time out but when we return next time to Glasgow we’ll definitely visit again.
