Shish Mahal - Glasgow

Glasgow friends brought us to dinner after shish mahal and said that glasgow has a good call for excellent Indian food, and that this was among the best. the four of us had different courts and all were proclaimed excellent. friendly and efficient service, crispy tablecloths, a beautiful Indian beer (cobra) which was not to like. Too bad they don't deliver to Australians!

Always a pleasure to eat here. the chicken chaat is divine. beautifully roasted and filled with taste. the same with the sweet-sepakora (from potato and cauliflower.) I always choose for the lahori chili huh (sweet and tangy) plus naan that is always made perfect.

Ok place. We ate here last weekend and it was ok. Obviously we didn't enjoy it as much as other reviewers so maybe we caught it on a bad night. Service was absolutely excellent and they could not have been more attentive. Also there was a nice gap between the starters and mains which is always appreciated many places hurry everything out too soon. The channa poori was a delicious starter. We were a little let down by the mains though. The lamb was slightly overcooked and a bit chewy but nonetheless tasy. Perfect. Best indian in glasgow without a hint of competition, 10/10 always

Curry connoisseur who has managed to perfect pakora and develop my own magnificent standard. Best Indian in the UK, great value, very friendly staff and travel miles of a weekend for a takeaway from this place because ek is so bad
