Went in here today for a coffee and cake, staff were all helpful and attentive, cake was fresh and lovely and soft not like other establishments where the cake is always hard and you don't know how long it's been sitting, coffee was a good size, keep up the good work, I look forward to my next visit
I've visited this place a few times for drinks, and it's a lovely spot to relax and watch the world go by. Even post-pandemic, the restrictions haven't diminished the experience. The waitress who served us was very friendly and took a moment to chat, which was nice. However, the restrooms could use some maintenance—more locks, doors, and toilet seats need repair. While they are clean, I would expect more from a place like this. One downside was that many of the gins we wanted to order were unavailable. Also, it's not exactly cheap; drinks range from £8 to £11.
I've visited Cup/Gin71, although not for long. The service was excellent, and it remains a lovely little hidden gem. The tea and food menu has been streamlined since my last visit, but it still offers a fascinating selection. The tea and coffee are great. I tried the breakfast bag, which was filled with delicious sausage, omelette, hash brown, and speck on a toasted bagel. It was tasty but quite heavy; neither my partner nor I could finish it. Overall, it was nice, but I wouldn’t feel the need to rush back.
First-time visitors will enjoy fantastic food and cheerful employees. We received excellent service from the lovely Sammy, who crafted delicious gin cocktails for us. The tasting menu is definitely worth a visit!
