Cotton Mill Cafe - Gladstone

Good place for a quick & filling breakfast, very close to motel and the coffees are good to. This café is a good alternative to dining in the motel restaurant.

Great for the Merlo morning coffee to start your day with many home made meals to take away for lunch on offer. Sweet treats for morning tea but I will definitely recommend for Lunch the Cuban sandwich on Turkish Bread amazing .. much like a US Reuben But better ..

I can't speak highly enough of the quality of service and food this place puts out. I eat here as often as I can great food excellent service and a good coffee. Can't wait for the new menu

Visiting on business and agree a REAL cappacino made correctly without too much milk. It is a shame the outdoor tables only have shade. Very friendly service

Quiet little cafe nestled in the plaza across from the council building in the Main Street of Gladstone, Cotton Mill Cafe is a reasonable value no frills cafe with great coffee. There is not much in the way of interior 'decorations' and the small sign above the shop can be hard to see, and almost I visible from the road so you need to know this place is there, this place has kept it to the bare necessities, tables, a painting and big unobstructed glass windows with look out onto the plaza. The general feel is basic but friendly with plenty of natural light. The food was good but was somewhat disappointed with my one rasher of bacon, but maybe that is my bacon lover coming out in me, tho the price was very reasonable for the quality and great tasting food we received. It is astonishing how hard it is in Gladstone to not get a cappuccino in place of whatever you ordered at all. The Cotton Mill Cafe is the exception to this rule, the coffee is one of the best I have had in Gladstone and it's so nice to have a flat white that was actually flat and not loaded with froth. The owners are the operators and they are very friendly and welcoming, despite the lack of decor, the general feel is warm and welcoming and I enjoyed the experience overall.
