The Chicken Shack - Glace Bay

The fried chicken here is the best I've had in years! I would gladly come back with friends and family just for the fried chicken.

I just ordered the hot chicken sandwich from the Chicken Shack in Glace Bay, and it was the most disgusting meal I've ever had. I ordered gravy on the fries, but there was so much gravy that the fries became soggy. The sandwich was made with scraps of chicken, full of gristle, and so salty that I couldn't eat it. That will be my last order from there—completely terrible. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all; the meal went straight into the green bin.

I usually enjoy dining here, but I wish they offered coupons or more than just daily specials. Additionally, an upgrade to the oven would greatly benefit the pizzas. They often arrive undercooked, with pale cheese. We’d love to see some browning, bubbling, and a nicely burnt crust!

We had the best server tonight! Emma is an absolute gem! We had a minor issue that she rectified immediately. She was very genuine and sweet The food was excellent. Thank you to the kitchen staff.I highly recommend eating here. The portions are generous, inexpensive, compared to most places, and it's always delicious

Limited parking available. Portion sizes are large.Slow service but very friendly.
