We asked if the vegetable balls were vegan, they assured us they were, but when they arrived, we realized that they contained eggs (also, they were served with a yogurt sauce! When we asked, they confirmed the dish actually contain eggs. They let us change the dish with the filled eggplants. Updated by previous review on 2022-07-24
Vegetarian options clearly marked with quite a few vegan options. Waiting staff aware of vegan definition. Really enjoyed the stuffed peppers, aubergine, green soup and homemade bread.
We went here for dinner and didn't have very high expectations because of the reviews on happy cow. But we were happily surprised. You go upstairs for the restaurant. The atmosphere is better than in the other restaurants around. They have vegetarian and vegan options. The food was good and staff was nice. I would go here again.
I’m surprised it’s on happycow as there were very few vegetarian options on the menu, less than many other traditional restaurants in the area. Expensive and average food.
We inquired with the waiter about vegan options and he mentioned that they could prepare pasta with tomatoes and butter. We provided him with an Albanian translation card for vegan. The chef informed us that they also had soup, salad, and stuffed wine leaves available. Ultimately, we chose to dine at the neighboring restaurant "Vojsava" which offered stuffed eggplants, bell peppers, and other choices as well.
