Lone Star Cafe - Gisborne

After a long drive from Napier all we asked for was a decent meal and normally Lone Star provides that. We booked. We sat down and ordered and then we waited and waited.. After 50 mins of waiting we had to ask.. We were told that everyone arrived at the time we arrived (although two groups that arrived after us were served within 30 mins) and our food would be 5 mins away. 10 mins later and the food came out. But came out wrong.. Won't be going back

Service is great every time we go. There was quite a wait time this last time we went due to new kitchen staff but our waitress was amazing made sure we were well taken care of. The place is a little dark but otherwise it's a nice clean place to have dinner. Service: Dine in

The blonde waitress was rude and unwelcoming and the food was average at best. Would not recommend, spend your money elsewhere. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$50–60
