Cuvaloup De Crans - Gingins

Great spot for early morning coffee , lunch or dinner on the terrasse outside. Staff are very kind and helpful, food is farm/ mountain style and delicious. Terrasse has an amazing calm and serene tranquility to it, no traffic and some gentle cow bells to help you relax. Highly recommended!

This unfortunate restaurant has absolutely the worst service in Switzerland. The waitresses are downright rude especially the middle aged lady with ginger curly hair. She blatantly ignores any request and simply obnoxious. Furthermore be prepared to wait for a long time for very expensive and mediocre food. One small bowl of soup is CHF10. One small portion of Rosti the size of your palm CHF17. This isn’t fine dining. They serve cafeteria food. Avoid at all cost.

Arriving in the night by snowshoes with only a head torch to shine the way, the welcoming lights of the Cuvaloup de Crans restaurant put an even bigger smile on your face. Delicious fresh beer on tap, yummy local wines from the owner, happy service, fantastic fondue and not to forget, the arboise beef with yummy mushroom sauce. I can't wait to go back during ski season!
