We tried 3 other dishes but they were all super sweet like you poured sugar in it. Found this restaurant on YELP as we wanted to have Vietnamese but this restaurant is actually Thai place who is doing Pho and some other Vietnamese dishes.
Updated review 11/29/2021 Since we had a great experience on our last visit 3 yrs ago. We decided to eat here before a soccer game. We ordered the Vermicelli bowl with bbq pork and the rice plate with bbq pork. Now I'm not Vietnamese BUT the Vermicelli bowl is my favorite Vietnamese dish besides Banh Mi! and I've ordered it 1000's of times so I'm 100% sure that the noodles are not supposed to be served steaming hot! Even after I poured the fish sauce on top, it still was steaming! All they had to do was place the noodles in an ice bath for a few minutes and then serve it the proper way! Even the dipping fish sauce was bland. No signs of red chilli or garlic. Also, the pork for both dishes was not grilled! Imagine having a slab of Char Siu(Chinese BBQ pork)then it's placed in a Pho and lastly it's placed on a rice plate and or a vermicelli bowl! That's what it tasted like and looked like it too! I'm certain that this restaurant has new owners! Since we last ate here 3 yrs ago! So disappointed! 3 yrs ago.... Fusion of Thai, Vietnamese, and Filipino food. We ordered the BBQ chicken, Pad Thai, and Pad Woon Sen, which totaled to $36. Which is ave compared to other restaurants portions. Everything was delicious. The table service was quick and the staff was friendly. Would definitely be returning.
Thai Vietnamese restaurant in Gilroy. Who knew? Standard Thai AND Vietnamese stample food menus in one place And good food at that. Everything we tried was great. We had vegetarian egg rolls, pho soup, pat Thai and seafood curry. Not modern fusion food, but good, comfort food.
First time here. Service was fast and friendly. Food was fantastic. It was nice to have some different options to choose from. I had an Asian Taco with fried tofu and it was Absolutely Amazing!!!
I used to really like this place. It wasn?t the best but it was the best in town. The last few times I?ve gone though, the quality and flavor is not good. The spring rolls fall apart and the peanut sauce is not good quality either and not consistent every time. Service is good and you get a good amount for your money but it?s not the best flavor and quality wise.
