Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park

Great local attraction. Worth the drive to Gilroy. Owned by the city and run as a nonprofit. Gilroy.

$140 admission for 2 junior high kids $10 for an Icee. $16 for a small bag of popcorn. $13 for a 8oz Halloween non alcoholic drink. Spent over $200 just on food for 5 ppl These ppl are out of their mind.

My Grandchildren liked the train ride the best of all even though they rode the rides that they could. I don’t know why they don’t announce the rides that are closed? I asked the young lady at the welcome center so which rides other than the Swan boat ride was closed. She replied “well I don’t know they don’t tell us?” other than everything being over priced from the food to the souvenirs my grandchildren enjoyed themselves!

I decided to visit today since I haven't been in a couple of years. We have a season pass to Great America so you can use it at both parks. You still have to pay $25 for parking even with a season pass. The park was pretty empty which is really good for kids who don't like waiting in line. The swan boats weren't open which was a bummer. They loved the boat ride and the rollercoaster. I love having them read the Did you know facts on the rides. We had a corn on the cob for about $8 but it was so good. They have food places like any other theme park. I definitely would bring the kiddos back. This park is for the younger kids so I would say 8 and under.

Love this place for the little ones!! My son had a blast here. It's definitely catered more towards younger kids. The rides were fun and safe! Park is fairly large with beautiful lights around the holidays! We came here for Halloween and it was bright with purple and clear lights, I can only imagine how beautiful it is around Christmas time! We will definitely be coming back, I do recommend the membership if you'll come more than twice!
