Dona Maria Mexican - Gilroy

I was in the two location, near los gatos and Gilroy, I just tried the cattle tongue Burrito, while my son eats the grilled and steak levelau Tacos. The Burritos are fine, unfortunately there is no season on the cattle tongue. The same problem with the simple tacos. They are simply grilled without spices. The staff is friendly and the place is nicely decorated. I'm visiting the most weekend because it's the only place that's open at 9:00.

We go for lunch every Sunday, and this place is filled! It's always busy when we go. There can be a waiting time, but not too long. Food was consistently good. I get something different every time. This time I got a tortta with Carnitas, and it was delicious! Soft roasted bread with melted cheese, salad, avocado, carnitas, onion and tomatoes.

The food is great for a good price. Love her salsa.
