Brasseriet - Gilleleje

Hyggelig place and good food. I had The True Vegan (rye bread with potatoes, avocado and mayo) for lunch. It was really delicious and beautifully served (I regret I didn’t take a picture). My only complaint is the size of the serving, it was not enough, and the price was in the higher end. But really worth it. Also the staff was very friendly too. I asked about the fake fish and at first she said they’ve never had such thing. A bit later she returned and apologized, and said that now it’s called Blomkål i tempuradej, and she offered us free tee or coffee for the inconvenience. All in all a very good experience, I would definitely recommend Brasseriet.

I had the fake fish filet and was able to sub remoulade w vegan lime mayo. Delicious They had several vegan options, which is a rarety in an old town specialising in mainly fish. That made this place even more of a treat.

Horrible food and service. Overcharged for bad piece of undercooked steak that tasted horrible. Extremely rude staff.
