Morning Kick - Gilbert

The only place you should be going for a breakfast burrito. I make a 30 minute drive for these and am never disappointed. Go-to is the barbacoa or carne asada but have tried the others and they are all just as good.If the food wasn't good enough for you, the atmosphere and attitudes of the staff bring you back every time. Very welcoming and down to earth and always have smiles on their faces.

Read this review! I rarely write reviews anymore because I'm doing other things (blame netflix) anyways! I HAD to write a review for this restaurant!!!Firstly, I didn't discover this until a while after we got home. I had put the leftover tater tots in the fridge and everyone knows cold tater tots are bleh and when you reheat them they're soggy and just not the same. OMG I was hungry so I grabbed a cold tater tot and NEVER in my life has it actually tasted good until now!!!! Imagine a world where a cold tater tot is freaking amazing!!! I am just in awe!!!Lets backtrack now to the actual time of eating. I love pico de gallo, I am picky about it, I don't complain but I secretly judge and compare it to what I make. Never before has someone made a better pico until now!!!I am not saying they made a deal with the devil to make the most amazing food I have ever had, but they have something special!!! This is a MUST for anyone visiting, but beware it will ruin you on any other place. I did my civic duty by warning you that you will never find better!!

Walked in and ordered the green chili burrito and a bananas foster latte. I sat down and they brought me my latte but it was on ice. I wasn't asked if I wanted it hot or cold so I told them I wanted it hot and I was told that it's more appropriate to order it iced since it's hot outside. They remade my latte hot and it was delicious. The burrito would've been better with bacon or ham or another protein but it was powdered eggs potatoes and cheese. I found it interesting that they have wallpaper of real eggs in the dining room but don't use them? False advertising? I was told the table I selected was wobbly even though I didn't notice at first. The dining area seemed warm so I would suggest to try to sit under the one fan they have. If you want a fork or knife they have them in a do it yourself shelf.

I’m not a huge tater tot fan but if you are, this place is for you! Not a ton of seating options and for the summer time, it was quite warm inside. I got the Mike’s Mackin bowl which was not bad, was expecting more of the jalapeño gravy. We also got the Arizona Burrito which was much more flavorful. I love that they have bowl options to allow for more filling without the tortilla! Really unique spot!
