Pistolese's Pizzeria - Gibsonton

As a truck driver from Wisconsin, I make it a point to stop by this restaurant every time I'm in Apollo Beach. The pizza is consistently outstanding! I came across another review from someone claiming to be from New York who didn’t enjoy the pizza here, but I think that’s just the New Yorker mentality. I visit New York frequently and enjoy the pizza there as well; I appreciate both places for their unique flavors.

The pizza, service, and family atmosphere are all exceptional! Everything we've tried here has been fantastic, particularly the Strombolis and pizzas. The service is outstanding, and the family running the place is incredibly kind and organized. It's the best spot in town for a family dinner, a quick meal, or even after a game! We even bring it for our summer camp kids!

My son has been eager to try your pizza after his school had a pizza party and ordered from your restaurant. We decided to stop by after baseball practice tonight, and I had a slice of your pepperoni pizza. I must say, you’ve become our new favorite pizza place! The staff was incredibly friendly, too. I highly recommend it for a great pizza night!

We decided to order pizza and garlic knots from Pistolese's Pizzeria tonight... We ordered a large bacon mushroom pizza. It was HUGE! They use real fresh mushrooms, not canned, nice sized pieces of bacon. I will give the pizza 4 stars out of 5. We were highly disappointed with the garlic knots. Super raw dough in the middle. Severely undercooked. No stars.

Absolutely 100% the real deal. These folks are hard-working to give you the very best. We’ve lived here since 96 and there were a few places that came close but this place is what Yankees and Italians are looking for, The real large pizza, large slices, enough toppings that you can actually see them, and flavor that only comes from experience and expertise.
