Mike's American In Spr - gfield

Was not worth the $300+ check. Haven't been to Mike's in over 4-5 years, so why not celebrate my divorce that took 4 years to finalize by getting a great meal at Mike's. The service was lack luster tonight including glasses sitting empty for long periods of time, my mom sat there for a good 15 minutes because they forgot her Caesar salad, then brought out the main courses a few minutes later while she was still trying to finish up her salad poorly timed and amateurish). Then they completely forgot my drunken ribeye $48) and I had to sit there for another 10 minutes just to get mine. What a total disappointment and NO OFFER for any sort of refund or compensation for making it a stressful and poorly serviced meal. I don't plan on going back any time soon.

I've been going here for years. Like everything about this place, especially the friendly, professional, efficient staff. It never disappoints.

Mike's hands down is the best restaurant in or near the Burke/Springfield/Fairfax area. Always fantastic food environment, and elite service along with fair pricing. Love coming here with my family and friends. Also love the decorations to spice up the atmosphere around the holidays! If there is 1 single critique I have about mikes, its the parking... Only downside! Looking forward to next visit.

We had dinner to celebrate my son’s 55th birthday— great food. Great atmosphere. We had the best waitress ever she was phenomenal and of course I can’t remember her unusual name Demetria perhaps. She was awesome.

Sadly, I had the worst customer service I have seen at a GAR today. We sat in the bar and had drinks and a meal but our server was just not present at all. Everyone had empty cups and was looking for refills. The main issue though was she forgot to input our food into the computer, we ordered at 5:30 and didn't have food at 6:10 so we asked what happened and she stated she didn't input but then argued that my friend didn't order anything even though he ordered the salmon. Luckily, she inputted it and we finally got our food at 6:30. Then we got the bill delivered without anyone asking for it which was odd and multiple requests to pay. My food was decent, normal for a GAR, but the service was just terrible today. My group agreed we wouldn't be returning as it was impossible to get drinks and food service was terrible.
