Lotus Bakery - Geyzing

Don't expect heavens, this is rustic bakery serving basic baked goods, the beads and buns are freshly prepared and you can enjoy it with hot tea.

Excellent place or the best place to ave Food ( Continental and Nepali ) . The place was developed by German and French as the Orphanage runs by DPC . Have a very unique and lovely Tea Garden . The head of the institute is a very respected Monk Yapu Yongda

It's been a long time since we went to that pearls to find the sunflowers in the barn. I didn't want to be there.

I was there on a horrible wet day so it was great to have a nice locally grown tea to warm me up. They do offer varied cakes and pastries which were a nice change and reasonably priced. The proceeds go to the local school to produce more tea and support the locals, so worth a visit.

Oh dear, a cake shop on the way to and from our destination of Pemayangtse on one day and Rabdentse Ruins another day. Stop and top up your energy levels in the way there and then stop on the way back :-) Anything you eat will be burnt off with all the walking you're doing so it's all guilt free :-)
