Burg Lissingen (unterburg) - Gerolstein

Very nice old castle, yet well preserved.we could only look at it from outside. CORONA.

Unfortunately, after the great flood of 2021 still closed. You have to look at the Oberburg. They look like a single one, but have different owners.

Unfortunately we could not visit the castle. It is only possible with prior registration and only from May to September. But you can only learn that if you're on the spot and stand at the showboxes.

I saw the castle by chance on a bike tour from Gerolstein to the ice caves. Unfortunately, I had too little time to look at them and somehow everything looked very private. I didn't want to bother you. In the recessions, however, I read that the castle is to be visited.... maybe next time.
