Traveled in from Texas for a wedding. Stopped in for breakfast. Delicious food, wonderfully helpful and pleasant staff, and all in a fantastic atmosphere. Thanks for the experience!

Lots of great well crafted food options. Favorite place in town. They even have lots of gluten free options.

I have been to the Mixing Bowl a few times with my wife and we have enjoyed it a lot but this time we were extremely disappointed in the service. I ordered strawberry cheesecake pancakes but they were plain and tasteless so we asked our server to send them back and got a different dish, which was much better and enjoyable. When we got to paying the bill we were charged for the pancakes we sent back. When we asked our server about it, she said that she had to ‘fight’ with the manager to get us a 15% off those pancakes that we sent back. Getting charged for food that we did not like and sent back is something that we did not expect from a place we enjoyed going to. And the server having to fight with management to give any discount for a bad meal but still not either giving it for free or explaining it to us before the bill was just disappointing and poor.Edit: The owners refunded the pancakes fully and dealt with the situation quickly. Very impressed with the resolution of the situation and will be back again.

So so happy I found this gem. Amazing food that is better than anything else around. Like an oasis. Yummy without being super greasy.
