The Murchison Tavern - Geraldton

I heard here was good for Gluten Free meals, when asked they saidrr everything but pizza they could do GF. I had a burger and they gave me a normal bun saying it was GF leading to me being sick for the last 28 hours. Don't eat here if you have any allergies.

Initially went to have a few drinks. Bar staff were quite friendly.Decided to have a meal. The restaurant was getting busy as we sat down. Enjoyed a wonderful Laksa, as good as we have eaten at Asian restaurants. Other dishes were tasty with good sized portions. Waitress who took our order and delivered meals was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely go again if back in town

I have enjoyed my food all the times I've been there. I've always wanted to try their wood fired pizza though.

Attended fairly early evening, ordered goat curry and my wife had the seafood basket.The waitress was very busy. the food arrived in a reasonable time, i found the curry to be very good, however the rice was seriously overcooked and gluggy. The seafood basket was without much flavour, the squid rings were undercooked and the fish was a very small serve and totally bland. There were only 3 tiny butterfly prawns. The seafood was served on a napkin in a basket. The food stuck to the napkin. Overall not a good meal, maybe their other food items are better?
