Tejas Meat Supply - Georgetown

The Georgetown melt was delicious, but we were a bit disappointed with the truthahn BLT. My husband really enjoyed the 32 uncensored animals theme that allows kids to run around. The service at the bar was excellent, with each staff member checking on us. I do wish they had more side options other than just chips.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to enjoy a cold beer and lunch after a morning of exploring the shops and market. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service. They offer a lovely variety of beers on tap and bottled. Their sandwiches come highly recommended as well. There are two TVs available to watch sports without being too overpowering. On the Saturday afternoon we visited, there was live music from a guitarist that added to the great atmosphere. We wished we had brought a cooler with us as their fresh meat looked perfect for grilling.

We ordered 3 sandwiches and had to wait 55 minutes for them to arrive. The grilled cheese was not melted and the other sandwiches were cold. The brisket was tough and seemed like it needed to be heated before being placed on the sandwiches. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and the beer was good, but I would not recommend coming here for the food. They may simply need more help in the kitchen.
