Grey Havens Inn - Georgetown

Just minutes from Reid State Park and with an amazing oceanside porch, this Inn is a gem. We were so happy to stay for a special night at the end of season and enjoy delicious fare at Blue, the restaurant within the Inn. Our room (Five Islands) had an amazing view and was clean and well kept. I rated it 4/5 only because it was small that wasn't a problem given the lovely common areas inside and outside of the Inn. We recommend one of the turret rooms like ours the views of the ocean and nearby islands are amazing! The innkeepers and staff are both professional and gracious they were wonderful hosts. Nearby activities: The beaches and other walking areas at Reid State Park are wonderful all times of year. If you are a birder you'll find lots of good spots, both fresh and saltwater, to explore. Food drinks: Their restaurant, Blue, was a great find, given that there are few other places to dine on the peninsula, particularly outside the summer season. A wonderful stay with excellent views and great grounds for birding. Had dinner at Blue and it lived up to its reputation and was outstanding! Wonderful location. Easy Maine days. Wrap around porch with a view.. Porch furniture like butter. Well appointed rooms. Clean and fresh. Great food. Coffee bar in the morning. Lovely breakfast. Excellent bar. Chill owners who tend to your requests with ease and diligence. 2 miles from a sandy beach. Make a reservation at Blue! Beautiful landmark on the water with great views of the ocean. The place is spotless well maintained. There are no TVs in the rooms in case you are a TV watcher. And no closet in the Reid room. Mattresses bedding were very comfortable! Internet service is good. Ali Carlos are friendly courteous but not super chatty—which we loved. Other b b owners sometimes are almost boundary less when it comes to engaging with the customers. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cozy B B. Food drinks: Ali made homemade delicious breakfasts there are outstanding dinners at Blue. Ali Carlos are wonderful hosts. And they introduced us to a great new cabernet, Earthquakeexcellent! My spouse and I had an amazing stay at Grey Havens Inn! We loved the location and Maine ambiance of the Inn’s coastal setting. We also enjoyed two excellent meals at Blue, the Inn’s restaurant.
