Best bagels in Grand Rapids. Always fresh and great flavors. Love the beddar cheddar bagel. Also have fresh bagel sandwiches, Love the American Sunrise breakfast sandwich with sausage.

Bagels are always fresh and good, often are short staffed... like so many places. So don't be in a super rush. They are not slow, but limited staff means a little slower processing and often less selection depending on the time of the day.

I'll start with what disappointed us, the breakfast sausage they use for their sandwiches is as bland and tasteless as you can get, next time it's ham or bacon all the way. That said, the Northern Omelet and Southern Tradition sandwiches were otherwise good, hefty portions and freshly made, but we needed that pop of breakfast sausage to make it a 5 start. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere made for a nice experience.

Love the food here, and the atmosphere! But I ordered a sandwich with the chicken salad on the side, and got hardly any chicken salad. Not worth the price if that how much you always get.

My experience at Big Apple Bagels was wonderful! A great staff with smiles on their faces, and great food. They have a good selection of not just bagels, but pastries, sandwiches, and salads. A wonderful interior with a fireplace and a few magazines. I got a plain bagel with plain cream cheese, and it was wonderful. It may a little pricey to some, but it was fine with me. I would suggest getting some extra napkins though. Alongside that, I got a mango smoothie, and that too was good, it had a nice refreshing mango taste to it that I loved. I would definitely come back, and suggest this place to others.
