Sushi Lovers - Gentofte

Absolutely fantastic experience. I love their sushi.. and just last night the service was absolutely outstanding. Outstanding. She was simply the sweetest, warmest and happiest person I have met in a long time.

Had a great night at Sushilovers. The food was delicious, the lighting and acoustics were good. Best of all, was our sweet waiter. Her mood, smile and service were top notch! You felt incredibly welcome, and we noticed how she also spread good energy to the chefs in the kitchen. A really nice and successful evening, where everything was just as it should be. And my friend and I can otherwise be quite critical ladies.

I attended a sushi course here and found the instructor to be quite informative. However, I wished we had the opportunity to add our own twist and creativity to the sushi we made, as the ones provided were somewhat ordinary and lacked flavor. Nevertheless, the tasting menu offered after the course, consisting of 10 pieces of sushi for 100 kr., was exceptionally delicious and made up for the blandness of our homemade sushi. It would have been appreciated if water was provided during the course, as we tasted various ingredients and became quite thirsty (we went and bought some in the restaurant). Additionally, the class had around 30 participants, and some individuals asked strange and off-topic questions. If you prefer a more private experience, I would recommend booking a smaller session somewhere else.

Terrific sushi. The coffee machine was faulty so we didn't get that. But elderflower potion is great for subduing the chilli.

The best sushi in the whole area, really delicious. But it's smartest to just order takeaway, because the service is lousy. The staff is inattentive and only comes to the table to serve. They completely forget to ask how the food is and whether you want to order more or have more to drink. They didn't even take empty sushi plates away from the table, so there were only 3 tables occupied, the rest of the restaurant was empty, they weren't that busy. We ended up having to go up to the counter ourselves to remind them that we wanted to pay. In short, the food is fantastic, But the service is totally lacking.
