We had a salad, farinera with pesto and seafood dishes, all very fresh and delicious. Great service, good wine, good food, friendly staff!
We arrived late into Genoa and needed to find a place to eat in San Fruttuoso where we were staying. This one was recommended. We walked in the door and the team were really friendly. One of the waiters had lived 12 years in York and spoke great English, helping us make good choices. We ordered pizzas (buffalo margarita, mushroom and spicy salami) plus gnocchi pesto and a tuna salad from Genoa. Then desert of lemon sorbet, tira misu and local cakes. The food was good, hit the spot well and the service was fast. About 65 euros all up for five with mains, dessert and drinks. It's a popular local spot, we couldn't get in the next night because we didn't have a booking. If we went again we would try the calamari, looked really good. We would definitely return.
