Vieux Carouge - Genève

Never in my life has someone treated us so terrible. The waiter showed a negative attitude with us tourists who speak with us in an unbearable and respectless way. We didn't even taste the food when he came and went to our table without... hearing something we said, even though we tried to say our order. When he came, he did not let us speak, he also denied our orders and repeatedly said that “he did not speak English” during the smile. HE DOESNT DESERVE OUR MONEY, go to any other place that people there are certainly not pathological and grateful to have you.

When they visit naughty and look for the best fondue, that is their place. I was recommended by a native carouge and it was great. the greener was amazing, the service was very nice and took care that we had the best...Fondue experience all the time. after this place we visited other places where they should do the best fondue and they could not compete with the in au vieux carouge. just go and try it yourself, you won't regret it.

When in Rome. Well, if there's a need in Geneva to eat cheese fondue and I can't think of a better place than Au Vieux Carouge. The atmosphere is great, small place, but with a great heart. I dinee here at least...when I visit Geneva as I am always welcome, smiling people, boss makes his appearance to see that customers enjoy the Dide, Madame comes to the table to make sure everything is okay between carrying plates or fondue to a table. I can definitely recommend the Fondue Marseillaise, a well seasoned sticky fondue.

Went here on a cold winter night. The venue is really tiny and heard always busy therefore booking in advance is highly recommended. Attended by both locals and foreigners is a nice place to go and enjoy a fantastic fondue. The ambience is really informal...and guess not famous for the service...clear enough people come here for the fondue
