My vegan vegetables curry with coconut milk and rice was really good! As per many places in Geneva centre is quite pricey, especially if you think about how many good Thai are in London for half the price. However I advise to visit Chiang Mai.
Reserved a table via 'The fork ' and you get 30% off food(not set meals and not drinks). Lovely small restaurant, has a small decked area outside. Lovely staff very attentive, fab food so much to choose from, very tasty. Didn 't leave hungry. It 's located in the old town not far from the lake. Would definitely visit again.
I had a great experience in that place. The food is made of fresh ingredients and you can tell it at first glance, confirmed while eating. Wide choice of dishes, nice setting, cool jazzy sound atmosphere. What else!?
Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a nice, friendly lunch in a restaurant I was used to go, turned into the worst food experience of my life. A simple red chicken curry offered as the special of the day smelt of fermented urine from pavements, which took me a while to identify clearly. When the dish was presented to me, the instinct of repulsion was immediate and stronger than me. The friend who was having lunch with me had the same feeling. I discreetly mentioned this to the restaurant manager who, in return, pointed out that I was the first to complain when four other customers had been served before us without any problem. Oh my God, how can you put a customer through that? She tried the dish in a small bowl in front of everyone, pushing humiliation to its end, told me that maybe it was the coconut milk, which is supposed to be so sweet, and then argued that maybe it was the macerated bamboo. But what is macerated bamboo? I'd never heard of it. For me, Thai dishes are sweet and spicy. Not putrid and bitter. I was living a nightmare... Finally, I was offered another dish, but my stomach was in knots. I ended up accepting a dish of overcooked vegetable noodles. It gave off a nauseating smell in the background. A complete nightmare. I ate a few vegetables to put on a brave face. We then paid the bill and went elsewhere for dessert, delivered but extremely disappointed and sad that such an experience happened in Geneva.
Was tired of eating Swiss food and ventured into this restaurant hoping to eat some good Thai food. Started with a rotten papaya salad and sent it back. The worst I’ve ever tasted by a mile. Followed with cashew chicken, green curry with chicken and pad Thai. All were gross and barely edible. I doubt the chef had ever heard of Thailand, let alone visited! At 29-35 CHF per dish, go elsewhere! Kind of pissed tbh
